About the event
🌿 Home Ed Family Foraging Workshop
Join us for a relaxed and engaging foraging experience designed especially for home-educating families - a chance to slow down, explore together, and connect with nature in a hands-on, meaningful way.
Rather than trying to learn everything at once, each session focuses on just a few seasonal wild plants, helping children (and grown-ups!) build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. We’ll take our time noticing what’s around us, learning how to safely identify edible plants, and discovering their stories, uses, and folklore along the way.
This is a gentle, curiosity-led session where learning happens naturally through exploration, conversation, and play. We’ll also gather a few ingredients to make something simple together, giving families practical skills to take home and try again.
Along the way, you’ll enjoy some wild tasters and drinks, offering a chance to experience new flavours and see just how exciting wild food can…
