About the event
Each session, we’ll explore a couple of seasonal plants, going on exciting foraging outings to discover them in their natural habitat. Kids will learn how to safely identify and sustainably forage these plants, understanding the importance of environmental stewardship.
Beyond foraging, we’ll dive into the medicinal and culinary uses of the plants, and kids will get hands-on experience making something creative from their foraged finds. There will also be craft activities that tie in with the theme of the day. Plus, we’ll weave in elements of basic maths, English, and science, making learning holistic and engaging.
This workshop is designed to inspire curiosity, foster a love of nature, and provide hands-on learning that kids will enjoy and remember!
